Blue spring update done today
For such an important part of a 6.0’s health this bit of wrenching is VERY easy. It took longer to put all the unneeded tools away that it did to replace the few small parts & the seal.
Don’t be intimidated by the job. It’s very simple.
The only remarkable thing I noticed is that my upper radiator hose was so full of coolant I couldn’t bend it down out of the way without dumping a few cups out.
I didn’t see that happen in the how-to videos I watched but those trucks were in the middle of other work and the coolant may have been drained completely.
