I have an Anderson WDH for my 3” receiver with a 4” drop/rise and a 2 5/16” ball that works as a normal hitch. I would like to get a B&W with a 5” drop but would like to just get it with a 1 7/8” ball and a 2” ball, unfortunately the 3” B&W’s seem to only come with the tri-ball or a dual ball with 2” and a 2 5/16” ball, which I don’t need. I looked at the Weigh Safes but like the option to flip the ball around without taking it out of the receiver…
I have a Weigh-Safe with scale for everyday trailer needs and an Andersen weight distribution hitch for pulling our 38' travel trailer. No complaints with either one. I've pulled everything from a trailer with 10,000# of lime to a twin jet ski trailer with the Weigh-Safe with no problem. I do have a tiny amount of slop on both receivers, but not enough to make much/any noise.

The slop is the only complaint I can find about the weight safe so far

You realize you can flip the ball around on the Weigh Safe without pulling the hitch out of the receiver, correct?
I have a 3” weigh safe with a 10” drop, use it to tow 10k of boat with 800 lbs of tongue weight and a cargo trailer with 300 lbs of tongue weight, works great, easy to adjust, no corrosion down here in Florida where it gets salt spray all the time, and I haven’t noticed any rattles, even with the light tongue weight. I need the 10” drop for the cargo trailer, built with a flat tongue, clears curbs and stuff when I back into parking spots, once in a while plows a furrow if their is a grass burm behind me. Hitch and truck don’t seem to care.
Wow, you guys are fancy! I have accumulated a number of receivers during the past 40 years of so. All are non-weight indicating, non adjustable, single ball. Depending on the trailer I swap out the receiver for the right ball and drop. I have looked and drooled over the new adjustable receivers, but can't justify the cost when what I have works (for me) but not as pretty or convenient.
Do you mean ball mount? The receiver is what comes on the truck from the factory. Mine's a 2.5 inch but the most recent for me is a Rhino. Not cheap but very handy and easy to use as well as looking cool as hell.
The one before that was a Shocker. Nice hitch and the airbag in it smooths out the ride nicely but it just isn't a hitch that's handy to use if you have to remove it often. So that's in a box and listed on FB Marketplace.
I've also had a WeighSafe. No complaints really. Just wanted something that got the ball another couple of inches out so that I could drop the tailgate if needed without it hitting the trailer jack.

I’m talking about to stow it, not to change ball sizes. And according to Weigh Safe, you cannot flip around and stow their 180 drop hitch with “a Ford truck or any of their 3 inch shank sizes.”
B&W Tow & Stow 2 ball system. 3" shank. No reducers. No slop or noise. Makes a nice and neat tucked out of the way when I'm towing my fifth wheel or g/n trailers. At the ready when I need to bumper pull something.
