Front Dually Adapters

Okay what do y’all think?

https://www.ebay.com/itm/165090106313#vi__app-cvip-panel

Or these, I suppose with the spacers you would just have to have a little tool you stick in there to lock the hubs?

https://www.southwestwheel.com/p-1934-aa-4f.aspx

Is it worth the extra money for the actual hubs?

These will be used to convert a Dana 60 SRW to DRW fronts

Either oem or arrowcraft spacers have been done many times. Prob not much downside to either
I don't know that other company but that does not mean anything. I know arrow craft spacers I have to space my rears apart are a great piece done by many people.

The second adapters you linked are for the rear.

I have a crazy setup on my truck that works great but it's not everyoes cup of tea.

You could try car-part for the adapters. I saw a bunch in there when I was looking awhile back.

The description says they’re for the front, are you saying they have wrong photo or something? I’m glad you said something cuz I was close to buying them a week or so ago!

The real front dually adapter is like 8" the rear is only 3" like that link showed since the inner dually wheel tucks in.

Here's my front adapter. It bolts onto the stock srw hub. See how far it sticks the front wheel out.

Project officially underway! The 60 needs new ball joints, U joints, inner seals, brakes and just overall de-rusted!

Tie rod end, “with enough leverage I can move the world” 🤣

So Edge, I take it you have SD dually fronts, I think you told me that before and you drilled new stud holes?

Yes, I have SD knuckles. The adapters are metric on the hub side (SD lug pattern) and the outter lug mounting studs are redrilled for the OBS 8×6.5. The outer metric pattern is still there, the studs are just knocked out.

I know my trucks an oddball

Ford ran that lug pattern up to the SD trucks. Then it switched to the metric pattern.
