I'd also want several women of the night to tuck me into bed for a few days.
I totally agree on the fun factor.
These days it would take me all night to do what I used to do all night.

I tried to convince him to sell it here, but he didn't want "tire-kickers" to deal with. It was an arid climate, no cancer pickup.
I'm too old and have too many Fords and ****** to drag home another orphan.

There is a local guy to me, 20-miles north who has a '74 Crew Cab pickup, also, a F25, 2wd to 4x4 conversion that he has listed for sale locally for $34,000.. it is in primer, so buyer can paint it whatever color blows their hair back.
I get the tire kicker part.
Years ago one of my my daughters was going to buy a new truck so I explained how trade-ins worked as far as pricing goes.
I told her to tell them she didn't have a trade in and to only deal on the price of the truck without all their BS and addons.

After she had bought the truck I asked her what she did with her Toyota Celica GT and she said se traded it in.

Deal was done, pen in her hand papers on the table - and she asked them what they would give her for her Celica.
Now they can't give her a lot for her Celica and just bury in the price of the new truck.
They were selling locally for around $4000 and they gave her $1900.
She said she didn't want to deal with the phone calls and didn't want people she didn't know coming over to her house.
She did good.

Quite a few years ago I sold my 1963 Mercury Monterey.
390 4V, dual exhaust, PS, PS factory AC, 6-way power front seat and power windows and the Breeze-Way power back window.
I think it had around 87,000 miles on it and everything worked.
I put a for sale sigh in the window with the details, price and my phone and let the car in a Concours d'Elegance car show parking lot at the U of U.
The following day I got a call and he wanted to come over to my home and look at the car a little closer.
He looked it over really close and took it for a drive.
When he got back he pointed out a few things that need repair and I agreed with him.
He told me if he bought the car, paid what I was asking and then fixed the minor things that needed fixing he'd be into the car more than it was worth.
I told him "then don't buy it".
He looked surprised and asked it I would discount it a bit and I told him no.
The price in the window is what its worth to me.
Guess who didn't sell their 1963 Mercury that day??

A few months later another friend called and said that Rod told him I had a '63 Merc that I wanted to sell.
He asked me to tell him about it which I did.
He asked me if I'd take a check and I said sure.
He told me he's come and pick it up Saturday.
Sight unseen, no dickering and I got what I wanted and so did he.
I don't like to dicker. Give me a price and if I like it I'll buy it.
Its just that easy.

Look at what I have.

I got 4 kittens running around, kids are loving it, and my mouse problem seems to have disappeared since obtaining two adult cats this time last year.

I'm allergic to cats since a child, but I like them. Playing with them, petting, etc is how I know. I can walk into a house where cats are, never see the cat, and I react. Our neighbors have a few, & my Wife despises them .... (the cats that is, the neighbors are super). I play along, she worries about birds, squirrels, etc .... but I haven't had chewed through wiring or fuel lines since these neighbors added cats.

I love kittens and this is my favorite one. I get 2-3 litters every year.
Wouldn't matter if I was allergic to them or not because the little *******s wont let me come hear them.
Cutest litters I've ever had.

Switched to Hagerty and got better coverage including towing for less money than I was was paying for liability alone.

This was on a camping trip back in May 2017. Rex and Susan are two of my very closest friends.
Susan has been an independent ins agent forever.
She called me a coupe of weeks ago and told me it looked like I was putting a lot of money into my truck and said it was tome to upgrade my insurance, soo I did
She covered everything with me as far as what they will and will not cover.
It was a no brainer. I love her.

This is my best friend Lance. This was 9:00AM this morning as we were heading out for a ride.
He came down from SLC Tuesday and is headed back home tomorrow, Saturday.

Thursday we had a tailgate party over at our gun range. Its nice having one right here in the park.
Its gated so its like like having my own private gun range.
Lance has been on a gun shopping spree an we thought while he was her it would be the perfect time to try them out.

I only brought a few of mine.
My two S&W M&P 45s. My full size and my Shied 45 with a 3.375" barrel.
And my S&S Model 58 .41 Magnum. It is soo crisp when you pull that trigger, I love it.

Out of all my handguns if I had to defend myself my full size M&P .45 ACP would be my pick.

Yep, the old Ford is the perfect tailgate party truck.
