Powerstroke Compression loss
I have a 1997 7.3 power stroke. Yesterday the truck started missing, very badly. I had the truck pulled into the dealership.
Findings were no compression on intake #6 and it was also noted that all push rods on the intake side were bent.
We have not yet pursed next step, pulling the cylnder head to see extent of damge. I was just wondering if anyone out there has ever experienced this, and what was cause and end fix.
The engine only has 72,000 miles and has been well maintained. Real bad thing is it just went out of warranty six months ago. Thanks.
