I looked up the headlights for my truck (‘21 F250 w/ halogen lights) and it seems it is the dual hi/lo beam bulb. So what is the second light in the fixture? Which light is the headlight, the top one?
Seriously, this truck has 4 headlights? Sounds like a Clark W. Griswold vehicle.
Six with the fogs on.... It is really kind of obnoxious and leads to a lot of flashing in my rural area. I normally do not run the fogs because with six bulbs burning it attracts a lot of attention from those thinking you have the high beams on. They REALLY don't like that return flash...
I sure as hell wouldn't spring for LEDs considering these are already too bright for my fellow rural residents.
just the opposite here
we have more cows than people and lots of dark county roads and hwys. my LEDS and fogs light up the bar ditches and way out in front to show me the cattle lounging after an escape from the barbed wire pasture.
not to mention the insane amount of hogs that lay in wait to jump out as you get close
i really like them compared to the HD bulbs i had in 16 exp and 13 f150
And, drive around with the high beams on all the time, it's all the rage, everybody's doing it...
Or, as some I've seen lately, put an LED bar across the front and don't turn it off for oncoming motorists or the poor ******* in front of you on the road.
I sure as hell wouldn't spring for LEDs considering these are already too bright for my fellow rural residents.
Yeah, that!!^^^ I’m a freight railroad conductor and ride trains for a living. The headlights, along with fog lights, and let’s throw in a light bar as well, and maybe some bright white led’s in the clearance lights on the roof of some of these pickups really are obnoxious, and a very real hazard to oncoming traffic. Some put out more light than four 74 volt sealed beams on a locomotive. Bring on the headlight snobs and popcorn!!!
