Running board installation
I have a set of fiberglass running boards that are manufactured by Fairlane I think. My question is what are the little tabs that stick up at the front of the running boards for? They seem to hit the rocker panels causing the board not to sit flush with the brackets. The holes for the running boards are not drilled but marked and do not seem to line up with the brackets.Anyone have any thoughts on this? or close up pictures of running board install?

Sounds like something you are meant to cut off, mine are steel . So maybe those tabs are from the molds..
