Hi all new member here. I own 2016 F150 sport, seems my turbo is leaking. Was asked if I saw white smoke coming out of exhaust, answer No. Truck drives fine, took to mechanic for fear brakes. My warranties both have expired 7 days ago. I have 46k miles. My Dad always bought Ford so when I went truck hunting I wanted Ford. Anyway a truck with 46k having serious issue like turbo leaks already! I bought new since I'm alone and wanted reliable truck. Built tough?? Anyone else have leak issue and are these trucks not so good after all?
thank you
E.
They're good, but like all cars there are issues from time to time across the entire fleet.
I rented a 2019 F-150 3.5 Ecoboost a few weeks ago that had 52,000 miles on it. 52,000 miles of being a rental car in the Los Angeles area. It ran fine the whole 900 miles (over only a few days) that I had it and had no leaks. Judging by the interior, the paint, and the bed, this one had been through a lot. It also had a different manufacturer of rear tires than fronts, and all four were close to needing replacement (again?).
Anyways, overall they are doing very well, but there are occasional issues.
