that sucks. this the first oil change you have done on the truck? Previous owner stripped it? Are you taking the emissions crap off it?
This is my 1st oil change. I looked last night and the threads on the pan look pretty good still. I am going to get a new plug and clean up the threads with a tap. Yes getting rid of the emissions.

In steel. It is already half drilled out so I can no longer weld to it.
