Due to increasing fuel prices and I don’t see any real relief from that in the near future, finally decided to pull the trigger on a Titan 50 gallon tank, originally wanted an S&B 56 gallon tank, but can’t justify the nearly double price of their unit. Ended up giving just over $700 for it, hope install isn’t too bad without a lift, Will make traveling a lot nicer and can be a little more picky where to fill up.
No need for a lift, one man job in about 2 hours. Watch a few youtube vids and know how to disconnect the 2 connectors on top of the tank.
Be sure you get them reconnected properly and the rest is self explanatory.
Good luck, you'll love the Titan.
The fuel line connectors is the hardest part, especially if you have big hands. Ratchet straps are your friend for holding up the tank. Consider painting all steel parts with a good rust preventing paint several days before installation, my straps rusted quickly. I made an envelope from foam air filter material and zip tied it over the vent hose end .
The Titan has really come down in price since I looked at them a couple years ago. And that video of the fuel connectors would have been nice to see before I did my tank, I broke both locking tabs not knowing how they unlocked. Let us know how the install goes.
Since dirt showed how the S&B has the lip that goes underneath the DEF tank, I looked at Titans choices. I saw that 50 gallon was flat at the end so it wouldn't get in the way for a DEF heater R&R and it's way less money than the S&B. That's what I'm going with when it's time.
Where are you guys finding Titan tanks that much cheaper than the S&B? Everytime I look, they both seem to be in the $1,200-$1,300 price range. I found a Titan tank once in their scratch and dent section that was around $800 but I wasn't in a position to jump on it.
I'd love to have the bigger tank but I can save money and have a bigger tank that won't get in the way of lowering the DEF tank once my replaced (once) heater goes out again.

Gotcha, it's the 11-16 tank, that's why I wasn't seeing it. Sorry, I must have missed that.

their 50 gallon Short bed tank retails around $800 I think, don’t shop Black Friday much, but noticed they were having a 15% off sale and fairly cheap shipping. Couldn’t beat that in my opinion, now the never ending wait for shipping, then installation. Hope to get it done before the move at the beginning of the year, hauling a trailer full of stuff with a 26 gallon tank is brutal stopping every 150 miles or so.
