My wife has a 1983 F-250 XL 4x4 which was her first truck. 269k miles on the motor and it spent most of its life on a ranch since around 2000.
The motor needs work, the body needs some love, and the interior is in pretty sad shape. I’d like to start sourcing interior parts for it while we work on the motor, but I’m pretty new to the game on this generation of F-series. We’re trying to source lots of interior bits like the dash pad, gauge bezel, steering wheel, door panels with armrests, etc.
Is there a good source for replacement interior parts, or is it all just watching ebay for a vehicle of this vintage? I’ll attach some photos shortly of the interior to give y’all an idea of what we’re working with.
Some interior trim parts aren’t reproduced so eBay or a junkyard will be the only way to find those pieces. LMC, Dennis Carpenter, and Jeff’s Bronco Graveyard is a good start for the rest.
