Coil Wiring

I am replacing the coil on my '53 F100 with the 239 flathead. The new coil terminals are marked "+" and "-", While the original was marked "BATT" and "DIST". I assume, this being a positive ground, I would connect the wire from the battery to the "-" terminal and the wire to the distributor to the "+" terminal. Is this correct? Thanks.
