Engine ID 302 ?
I know this has most likely been asked many times. I searched and could not find the answer. I just purchased a 67 F100 SWB. The previous owner did nothing but drive it for 3 years daily. He never worked on it. The truck has a good running 2 bbl 302 with some kind of transplanted factory electronic ignition. Is there a sight or can someone provide info on where to look for engine ID numbers and how to decode them once located on the engine ?
After I know that I can start gathering parts for tune up, gasket replacements etc.
The oil pan is somewhere under layers of crud and the pan gasket is leaking from every bolt. Is there a way to change this gasket without pulling the engine ? Does not look like there is enough room. Just thought that someone might have some tips.
Thanks for the help.

As for pulling the pan im not sure on a 67 but i think you have to unbolt the motor mounts and lift the engine up to do it.
