Electrical hell
let me apologize that I'm new to being a auto mechanic. I started my engine rebuild with my brother and finished it. My two children couldn't believe it when it started for the first time. I cried.
I'm to the electrical hell of turn signals, lights, horn. . .WTH!
My problem seems to be mainly the drivers side. I have done the obvious steps sockets, bulbs, fuses. I ordered a new turn signal harness as my next fix. I pray that from what I've read that the TSS could effect the lights. 🤞
The grounds. I guess I think they look like grounds screwed to the body. How do I know when my ground is bad?
Thank you for all the info. In this forum it has helped tremendously.
P.S. I have my timing around 22* btdc but my idle is high and jerks into gear. I think I have my idle screw as far out and seems it doesn't reduce the idle. When I adjust the timing to a sweet idle it runs like crap bogging and chocking.
Thank you guys for any help.
Please be kind this is my first rodeo.
I took it to my friends garage and put it on the lift.
my friends son checked the wires for like 30 seconds
looked back at the trailer hitch plug and said I but it's in that mess . He pulled it a part and found it was done wrong. He fixed it. Total process took 10 minutes. Ever light and turn signal work now.
