Brush guard question

I have a 2001 f250 and a guy gave me a westin hdx brush guard that came off a 2011 f250. I know it's got to be modified and new brackets fabricated....but is it possible to be made to work ? I didn't know if the headlight bars and front cap shape would be totally different on the 2011 f250 .........so different that it wouldn't work even if brackets were made . Thank you in advance for your knowledge and help.

The grill and head light areas are definitely larger on the 2011. Could it be made to work? Really depends on your fabrication skills and willingness to remake the brush guard to fit the 2011. Also whether or not it is worth your sweet equity.

With some custom brackets you could hang any brush guard on the front of a truck. The only way to really know if it's gonna look good is mock it up in front of the truck.
