Got the EAOD rebuilt by Cottman on my 94 F150 Supercab 2 1/2 years ago and it blew up again last week. Won't go in D but will drive in 2nd. Fluid smells burnt and a mechanic friend of mine said it's fried. I went and looked at the 04's two weeks ago and the one I wanted was $36,000. So I took my 94 to the detailers for the whole works and was prepared to drive it another 160,000 miles and this happens. Ain't that always the way???!!!

 

Rebuilding that tranny is gonna be a hell of a lot cheaper than buying an 04'
