So I’m planning on ordering an F250 tomorrow. Going to get a Lariat with Tremor package with a 7.3 in it.
Here’s my question. I am thinking I am going to get it in Stone Grey, but I don’t know whether I should get the sport appearance package or not. Planning on putting a bull nose ranch hand full replacement on it. Not sure if the chrome grill or body color will look better with that.
Here is a pic that Granger Ford posted of a Stone Grey Tremor Sport. Sport package will change your rear bumper & mirror caps to body color elinating all chrome. I don't care to maintain chrome so that is how I ordered mine.
All Lariat's have painted mirror caps unless chrome package is added. Not sure why that is even listed with the Sport package. As far as what grill would look better with a full replacement bull bar bumper, not sure. I don't think either would look bad.

Doesn’t really answer your question, but here's what we’re doing. Our F250 XLT is stone grey with the chrome package, because I’m an old guy and like chrome. I bought a Thunderstruck grille guard finished with zinc primer and had it painted stone grey to match the truck. I think with the chrome package that it will look better than black on the front of the truck, and I despise powder coating for long term durability. I expect it to look great. We took the truck to the shop today for the painted grille guard to be installed this week. My $.02, for what it’s worth.

I have never done any extra or different maintenance on chrome vs paint... In fact chrome bumpers seem to take a LOT more abuse than painted ones before showing wear or damage.
