Ice Castle

Hello all
Curious to how many of you guys are from the North and Tow ice castles all winter long? This is my current fish house and tow rig. I've added air bags (to keep the HID headlights from blinding oncoming traffic), rear sway bar and K02's to help keep the towing as comfortable as possible. The ecoboost has plenty of grunt to pull the castle it's when it gets real windy and ice covered roads when it gets a little sketchy. We take trips up to upper red lake, Lake of the woods along with around home. (Western Wisconsin)
I just placed an order for a F250 lariat 7.3 crew cab with a build week of 11/29. Has anyone else made a similar change? I'm expecting an improvement with the heavier truck. I look forward to any responses

Don’t expect miracles when pulling a single axle kite in the wind and icy roads……..It is still going to want to skate around; but yes, the heavier truck will do somewhat better.
There is a huge reason that, upon my retirement, I promptly moved from ND to AZ!
Good luck fishing, and good luck with the new truck when you get it!

Around here it seem like the people who have fishing huts drag them into place once and leave them there all winter.

My family and I look at it as camping in the winter. I bring the wife kids and dog with it helps break up the long winter months and create great memories we sure have fun doing it.
