If no one here has specific knowledge about your question FTE does have a sub-forum for the V10 engines.
I'm not familiar with the Excursion engines but the long block might swap out but all engine wiring harnesses, sensors and intake from the E-Series will almost definitely need to be re-used. The only other stumbling block would be if the Excursion engine is 3 valve.
