Cdr issues.

1994 f250 7.3 idi. I was pulling my cdr and cdr tube, some of the tube broke off and fell down inside the hole. I felt around with my finger and could not feel the piece. Any advice ?

Which hole? the hole in the intake or the hole in the valley pan? I assum valley pan, but just asking to make sure.

it fell into the valley pan

i used my shop vacuum & a piece of hose, taped the small hose to the vacuum hose and fished around inside. Eventually I spotted what I believe is the piece of the hose I dropped and I was able to suck it up with my vacuum. I’m about 95% sure I got it out
