I have a 2017 Ford F250 4X4 lariat and I have issues with my trailer connections, Every time my Living quarter Horse trailer is connected my running lights stay on all the time to the point even when the truck is turned off the lights stay on. Everything else works great brake - turn lights but if I don't disconnect the trailer after use it will drain the battery .Any ideas or does someone else had this issue and how did you fix this problem? Maybe a faulty trailer module? thank you in advance for the help

Once the truck is off, there shouldn't be ANY power going to the trailer beyond the light timeout period. My running lights will go on when I open a door. The running lights shut off within a minute or so. That's normal.

the odd thing is it is not all the running lights just the rear lights and they are dim oe slow flash sometimes
That is exactly what's happening.... Just seems odd
There are aftermarket solutions available. Lookup "LED resistor". I have not had to implement anything like that for my trailer, which has aftermarket LED lights.
