I have just been advised by a mechanic neighbor that my rocker arms are very worn - thus the noise i've been hearing. I wondered if this is a job that can be handled correctly/safely by a newbie with parts, tools and a shop manual. Looks reasonable to me so far but any thaing I should think about with this? Any thoughts would be appreciated.
I just replaced the rocker arms, most of which were showing serious wear, boy does she run a LOT more quiet. Thanks for the kick in the butt to do it myself!
