I'm looking for suggestions for a replacement carb; got an 87 F150 with the 351W and Holley 4bbl; had it rebuilt twice over the last 4 or 5 years and the idle is starting to get progressively worse over time, (happened before). I'm thinking of going with an Edelbrock, which I heard bought Carter. Also, how much CFM should this motor have. Formula I found comes out to about 539 at 100%VE, or 463 at 80%VE. Is a 650 too much?
