I came to notice this more so if OD had kicked in, and my speed dropped a bit but it stays in the same gear. For example a slowpoke in front of me,. I end up coasting a bit, then tap on the pedal and it's just flubbers.
Just bad luck with the speed of traffic on the way to my warehouse.
Lol.. when I bought this truck in 2018, had a very similar post. Going 45 mph sucked. But that's pretty much when my OD kicks on as well. You could either do what everybody else is saying and leave the OD off. Or you could do what I do, just never be cruising at 45 mph.. 😁😁😁 I think it's just got into the muscle memory of my driving habits with the truck. I'll keep it at about 40.. or 50 and higher, but rarely my cruising around the 45 mph range.. come to think of it if for whatever reason I have to, I'll just turn the OD off. Never actually think about what I'm doing I just do it.
