Looking for mattress recommendations
The older we get the more having a good mattress is a plus. The mattress that came in our Northstar is much better than mattresses we have had in other RVs, but we are still searching for something better. Anyone have one to recommend they think is exceptional?

We replaced our Lance’s factory queen mattress with a Tuft & Needle ‘Nod’ mattress-in-a-box from Amazon. We’re very happy with it, and IIRC the Nod is lighter than the original.

I added a basic inexpensive 2" memory foam topper to the stock mattress that came with our Northstar. Feels like a big improvement in comfort, but YMMV.
The mattress that came with the Northstar is an inner spring one, but thinner than a typical home mattress. We bought the camper used, but I believe this is the mattress supplied by Northstar.

Replaced the original mattress in our 2015 Northstar Laredo with a organic all latex 8” mattress. They are pricey but a good nights sleep after hiking and exploring or hunting was worth it.
