73 Ford f100
I have a 73 Ford f100 with a 3 speed manual used to be on the column but someone put it in the floor I’m having a shifting problem and I can’t seem to figure it out. When I’m sitting still I can shift through all gears but when I start off in first I can’t shift into second or third and I don’t know why any help would be appreciated thanks

Shifters have a hole drilled through the levers that center them for neutral. Disconnect the rods from the transmission levers or shifter levers then insert the centering pin through the shifter levers. Then also make sure the transmission is in neutral, adjust the rods so that they fit in the holes then try it out.
