Master cylinder question

How can I visually tell the difference in a manual brakes master cylinder and a power brakes master cylinder? The indentation where brake rod goes is shallow but the piston opening( where snap ring is)size is 1in.

Manual brake M/C has a 1" bore size and front disc M/C has a 1.25" bore size.

Is the bore size is visible without disassembling the master cylinder?
I compared the original master cylinder to the one off donor and openings, where the snap ring goes, are the same size.

Yes. Where the snap ring is located, that is the bore size. I have a new M/C sitting on the work bench and just looked at it to double check. Mine is for a manual brakes 1972 4x4.
