1983 ford f150 clutch fork?

hello all, new guy here. 1st post. the clutch went out on my 83 f150 plow truck, got it all apart, and it has the clutch fork with the two metal retainer extensions on it that clip into the throw out bearing (one on right) i have searched high and low on the internet, and cant locate one. the style that shows up has a ball wrapped by metal clip, where the ball stud would fit into the old fork ( the one on the left). can i use the fork with the ball on this truck? looks like i would have to change the original ball stud to the type that would receive the ball on the fork? can this be done? or does anyone know where i can get the original one with the retaining springs? thanks for any advise, Randy

I am not familiar with the clips on the bearing end deal. I am used to the style like the grey one above. The end of the fork fits in the groove of the bearing and clips onto the pivot ball, it can't go anywhere. Not sure what the clips on the bearing end did?

P.S. Looking at the picture again, is the fork area a little wider on the old one compared to the new one? Maybe that's why it need the clips?
