1998 EXPLORER SOCH Idle problem
My Explorer has 125000 Km, and run very well, but I found when you acelerate the engine in neutral and then release, the engine lost the minimun and stop. What could be??

98 explorer 5.0 idle vilapri
In reply to vilapi, got an 98 5.0 explorer. Had the same idle problem. Found out had to replace feul filter by tank, and clean out sensors, built up carbon. Only with 75,000 miles on it at the time, with using 89 and 93 fuel and regular scheduled replacement of air filter. Truck wasn't starting right, then one morning just wouldn't start.
