Hello. Have the Dash for a 1984 Ford F150, 302, 2wd Auto. The Water Temp the sensor Intellitronix requires has two wires (Blue & Black w/ blue). The digital dash only has one (blue). If the sensor grounds through the threads, as stated in the instructions (and that's all it states) am I also supposed to ground with one of those sensor wires? If so, which (assume blk w/ blu so the plain Blue would match the dash plain blue). Please advise. Thank you.
On their site under support, you can fine the instruction to the install of the sensor only. They offer a few so look for the one you have. I have some of there individual gauges and the oil sensor did have a ground wire.
I went for it and attached the blue to blue on dash and grounded the blk w/blue stripe and it seems to work.
My fuel gauge is still not reading though :/ I attached the dash wire to the yellow/wht that was to the Pin assembly #11 but not working. ugh.
Voltage looks good. RPM just keeps flashing 8cyl and then 6000 even if I rev in Park. It's auto though and I connected to the Grn wire that came from the previous aftermarket tach (I don't know if that ever worked though).
