Need some help

I got a LWB truck and I just need the to know how much to cut from my frame to make it SWB. Yes, I am friends with a Master Fabricator but he's teaching me how to do it.

No clue. If it were me, I'd pull the 8' box off of the truck, set the 6.5' Box on where it's supposed to bolt down, and break out the tape measure.

Depends, I think there are two(2) different lengths of short boxes, I may be wrong:
- regular cab short box
- extended cab short box

I agree with the above, once your long box is off, put the short box on, then you will know how much frame to hack.
Also, if you are lowering it, the axle will be back about 1", be a good time to account for that.

Do you have both trucks? or just the box? What years and cabs?
You'll need drive shaft shortened.
