Backup Camera/Display Brightness

I have a 2019 STX with the backup camera in the center display. When you put it in reverse in the dark, the screen is so bright that it blinds you. I am wanting to know if the brightness is adjustable for this. I have tried night mode , the dimmer by the headlight switch, and everything in the display settings. Nothing changes how bright it is. One in hundred times when I go to reverse it will be darker, like all the other light settings, but 99% of the time it is blinding bright. Thanks

There is no solution for that. It is obnoxiously bright.

Put a screen protector on it .. it will cut down on some of the brightness…

Mine is so bright it renders the passenger side mirrors useless from the glare of the screen. Absolutely blinding. One of the few things universally complained about in these trucks.
