Mustang V6 Chip

I know this is a truck board, so go easy on me. LOL, anyway it's hard to find DiabloSport dealers on the internet, and i'm interested in buying a 4 bank chip that was in a 98 v8 mustang, and using it in my 97 v6. I know it needs to be programmed, but the true question is will it electrically fit. Also, what programs are available for my computer "JPA1" and i want a gear change from 2.73 to 3.73 and my speed and rpm limits removed. Any help appreciated and long live the ford truck!

Thanks

Give me a call on Monday at 770-806-1955. I'll set you up with it. JPA1 is an easy code to handle, we've done many chips for this 3.8 L code. Speedo changes aren't handled through the chip for this code, its handled with a gear change in the transmission.

If you want custom programming, just about anything can be done, short of speedometer changes. We've done this with limiters in place, speed limiter raise, rev limiter raise and both raised. Limiters are actually removed, they are raised faster than the car can go!
