Remember when you were here and I mentioned my F100 horn relay and thinking it might be the cause of truck battery going dead when it sits for a week or longer? Well after pulling it, I can say that the truck sat for 2 weeks and when I got in it, it showed 12.1 volts and cranked right up. So I think that was it.
One more thing, regarding my Mustang dying out every time I put it into "Drive". Then it happened one time the next day after I thought I had fixed it, so I asked you to jump out and give me a hand, at which time it refused to act up again? Well I was thinking the likely suspect might be the vacuum modulator in the trans, so I ordered one from Autozone and should arrive later today. So I will replace that tomorrow.
I say "some what" as I would like to know why it was causing it to do that?
I am pretty sure it has power to 1 side, other to the horn(s) and the other to the horn button on the wheel that I think grounds the system to make the horn blow.
Did the horn work or even hooked up?
If the horn did not work or hooked up I could see the relay being closed and draining the battery.
A test light would tell if the horn did not work or hooked up See if there is power to the wire to the horn.
On the Stang and the vacuum modulator was the ATF in the trans going low?
If you pull the hose off the valve was there ATF there?
If it was really bad white smoke would be blowing out the tail pipes.
We can talk about it today at MoJo's if it will stay running for you to bring it.

Test light or volt meter would show if thats true.
