LED 3rd brake lights

So we all know the "fits F250, F350 and Excursion" lights on amazon/ebay are liars that don't actually fit the excursion because of the flared end tips.

But the lenses pop off really easy and then you can bake the excursion lens apart (I did 220°F for 10 minutes) and reseal it onto the amazon LED assembly with some butyl rubber and another round through the oven.

I'll post pictures later, but I thought it would be good for people to know.

Replacing the bulbs with LED replacements in the OE housing is not an option?

No, it for sure is, but i like the look of the LED panel a little better.

Absolutely nothing stopping you from putting LED bulbs into the oe housing. Just make sure you check the polarity before buttoning it all back up 😆
