Hi - this is Per-Erik Pihlström from Sweden... many years ago when I registered my user here I connected through Facebook... I regretted it many times, but never did anything about it. Yesterday, with all the problems FB was having I was unable to log in... I decided that I needed to try and disconnect my user from my FB account, but it doesn't seem possible to do so - so... I started a new account instead. If anyone knows of a way to fix it, please let me know... Otherwise, from now on this is me :-)
Hi Obscure69. Sorry, I don't know anything about Facebook, but I am intrigued by the fact that someone in Sweden likes old Ford trucks. Are they popular over there, or is it a niche interest? Can you get parts over there, or do you order online from the U.S.?
Hey! Well, I might not be a typical swede, my wife is from Missouri, and I lived there from 92 to 98, during which time I had a 68 F100 Ranger… that being said, American vintage cars and trucks are quite popular here, although mostly it’s the cars that people go for. There are a few small companies that can get some things for me, but I found a company in Germany that basically resell National Parts Depot’s things, albeit with a slight markup, but considering the outrageous shipping prices that NPD has to Europe, it’s not too bad.
Welcome back. I think the world just got a small taste of how spooky Fakebook is. It was down for what, 6 hours and it rippled the tech market, while its CEO thumbs his nose at the SEC and FCC saying sorry, but you cant touch me.
oh and is just me or does Mark Zuckerberg look a little like Data from Star Trek Next Generation?

Oh for sure, he looks like Data, but lacks any human charm... ;-)
What a small world it can be! I'm from a suburb of St. Louis Missouri. It is really interesting to me that there is such interest in Sweden for old U.S.vehicles. Glad to hear you can get parts at reasonable prices over there. If you ever need things that you can't locate, I would be happy to try to get them and ship them over to you just for the actual price of the parts and actual shipping costs. In other words, NO markup. Missouri boys stick together! Just out of curiosity, do they salt the roads in Sweden to melt the snow during winter? If not, vehicles must have the potential to last for a very long time over there.
How 'bout that. My wife is from LaPlata, North East corner of Missouri, and I bought my truck in Macon - I appreciate your offer, and will keep that in mind ;-) I do have another thread started where I'm looking for a light switch.
When it comes to salt, here in southern Sweden where we live, they do salt the roads. the further north you go, the less salt...
