A little help here as well please for identification. I have a 1959 F100 with the 223 and I'm setting up to renew the pinion seal.

I looked at the rear end which faces forward and noted the bolt pattern similar to this one listed here Big Ford Old Style.

Is this correct? Need to get the right seal, crush sleeve and o ring, thanks in advance.

Found this kit but not sure if these are compatible parts, thanks in advanceKit Includes:
  • (1) 9 Inch Ford Viton® Pinion Seal
    • These Viton® 9" Ford rear axle pinion seals are good to over 400° F while stock rubber seal starts to deteriorate at about 250° F
    • Outside Diameter: 3"
    • Inside Diameter: 1.813"
    • Overall Thickness: 0.5"
  • (1) Pinion Nut for 9 Inch Ford
    • Overall Height: .8125"
    • Outside Diameter: 1.48"
    • Thread Pitch: 3/4"-20
    • Material Type: Steel
  • (1) 9 Inch Ford Pinion Crush Sleeve
    • Overall Diameter: 1.630"
    • Overall Thickness: .500"
    • Inside Diameter: 1.350"
    • Material Type: Steel
    • Installs on the pinion and preloads the pinion bearings
    • Crush sleeves are not reusable and must be replaced if the pinion nut is loosened or removed

Thank you, I was hoping to keep the truck in service until I performed this repair but my problem is that I haven't been able to locate all the necessary parts (seal, crush sleeve, pinion nut and o ring) locally which means for me that I will have to wait on parts before service.

There can be so many variables on so many parts of Ford trucks, sometimes it is best to have the part in hand and match it up.
