Turn the key to start the motor and all I get is a click click click. Motor does not start. Lights works. Strong battery.
could this be the starter solenoid? It's a loud rapid clicking noise.
sounds like a impact wrench sound.

 

Make sure all battery connections are clean and tight first. You may have enough connection for lights but not for starter.

You should test the battery and alternator. Harbor freight has an inexpensive tool for that. Otherwise try a jump and see if that makes it start. If it starts then problem likely is one of the two.

If all else fails it could be a faulty starter. You usually only hear one click, when the problem probably lies with the starter motor or the solenoid.

 

It was the battery.
I bought that battery back in 2013 so it lasted this long. No complaints. That's a LONG time for arizona. I bought that same battery again $340.
