I picked up my truck from having the plow mounted yesterday. Previously I had swapped out the deep stock valance for the much thinner Tremor version. Happy to report the Tremor valance does not require any trimming to mount my Meyer Lot Pro snow plow and mount.
I wonder if a real plow like a Fisher would need to trim? j/k I doubt it though. That valence is pretty short.
I will admit, I was never a Meyer fan. They used to be pretty light duty but this latest generation is pretty stout. I have abused that plow for three seasons without any hint of failure. 80% of my jobs are rural gravel drives that twist and turn through the woods in these mountains. I have tripped it hard enough to lift the front of the truck clean off the ground a number of times. Nobody out west has Fisher. My choices were Western or Meyer if I wanted local support. The Westerns used to be my go to but the 60 under hood connection points versus 6 for the Meyer sold me on trying one. I do not have a single regret, it has been a great piece of equipment for me. It would not have gone on my new truck if I didn't like it because this was the perfect opportunity to change.
