I thought $26,000 was a lot to pay for a 2001 Excursion XLT 4WD, 7.3 diesel, 79,000 miles. No rust. Spent whole life in San Diego area. Here is a picture of mine with its new 2019 F350 Tires / Rims. $75,000 is insane.
Good thing I bought my 2003 6.0 Excursion 2wd in 2018 for $4600 then! It came from Tennessee and has no rust! Sure it isnt perfect, but tows like a dream and gets better fuel mileage than anything else we have. I just got 19.6 coming to Carlile Pennsylvania from Columbus Ohio for the World of Outlaws Sprint Car race. I dont have my camper with me, but it's the most recent pic I have of the beast!

what did you have to do to mount those? Did you need spacers? I understand the newer wheels have a way different backspacing.. I am thinking of putting the wheels and tires off my 2017 F250 on the '05 eX..
I had to add 2" spaces as discussed on this board. I also bought the good ones for $200 each. Figured if I was going to take a risk and run spacers I was getting good ones. Ordered mine from wheeladaptor.com.
Dan
so each wheel hub us to get new lugs and then the spacers?
any other parts?
thanks

I bought the 2" spacer set. It came with all new lug nuts from Wheeladaptor.com. I did end up having to cut some of the wheel well out to not rub. It's been mentioned on here a couple times that some did not have too but for mine to not rub I had to cut out about 6' across the bottom.
That's on par with CABT, and if I was choosing between one or the other, I would definitely spend that cash for CABT.

I really like those wheels! You just need the newer mirrors!
Yes they are on the list. Want the power fold and extend mirrors. This is a long term truck so money really doesn't matter. Will put everything on it that we will need/want. Have about a 2" play in the steering wheel Have to get it checked out. Headed on a 8000 mile trip in June so will probably change the steering box and get a kit to replace all the front end pieces. That is what I did to my F250 a few years ago. Much cheaper just to change them all at once. Think the kit was around $600 in 2018 and paid the shop about $500 to put everything on. The F250 had 200,000 miles on it. Surprised to need front end work at 80,000 but it is 20 years old. Want everything to be solid pulling my 8.5'x24' trailer with my bikes and wife's Trike in it next year heading into the Yellowstone and Glazier.
I know you told me they are 20”…so 33” tires …but is that on stock suspension? With no rub other than minor plastic trimming from wheel well?
thanks again

Yeppers, just purchased one. Very crazy prices and very little negotiations. Well, got a project going on a very solid foundation. Found unexpected tags on the block and heads indicating a remanufactured long block was installed. Trying to figure by whom it was built, but thus far no luck.
