1949 400M project
I am thinking about starting a new project and was wondering if anyone had gone the same route. I am thinking about dropping a 400M into a 1949 Ford F1 1/2 ton. Has anyone gone this route and what issues did you come across? I am certain modifications will need to be made to fit the motor and tranny and any design ideas would be appreciated. Will a Ford Mustang II suspension work or will something beefier be needed? Any thoughts would be great. Thanks!

There is a great section, just for you. The "Older, Classic and Antique Truck", section has a sub-section dedicated to the F1. That'a where you will find the answers to questions you don't even know you have.
