Undercoat high impact / high wash areas, fluid film low wash areas & cavities. Sold my 1990 Dodge W150 last yea, only had one spot of rust size of a quarter, rf fender heel.

From what I've read wool wax is thicker and doesn't creep into the nooks and crannies as well as fluid film.

I've been using fluid film for 8-9yrs and have been pleased with the results.

I migrated from Fluid Film to Woolwax (I don't think you can buy Fluid Film in bulk anymore, maybe?) last year. Been using 5 gallon pails. The Woolwax actually seemed thinner than the pails of Fluid Film I had in the past. Maybe it was just the one pail....I had always heard Woolwax is a bit thicker and was suprised when I opened it up.

I see they have a thinner version now available too for penetrating cavities. Woolwax LV corrosion inhibitor (kellsportproducts.com)

Fluid film is more like grape jelly that has separated and needs to be stirred up, wool wax is more consistent like pouring king syrup. I will say once applied the wool wax does appears to be thicker and stick around.

I have used Krown for many years. This stuff works well in the salt area. On my 17, the product actually creeps into the box. You can see dark spots around the seams on the spray in bedliner. Also available in spray cans for use on atv, rv or anything needing lube of rust prevention. Sold my old 7.3 after 16 years and the buyer was thrilled with the condition of the body and chassis. Highly recommend Krown.

I buy Fluid Film by the 5 Gallon pail and apply it to the underside of my truck twice a year as well as my plow, snow blower, lawn tractor and all my family cars. I have a lift in my home shop that makes it easy to use a shutz gun to do the application to the vehicles.
