1990 Ford E-350 RV Tioga Arrow: where is 'Federal safety label'?
I needed to register a salvaged 1990 Ford E-350 Tioga Arrow RV in California. I did all required inspections: brakes, light, smog. Today i tried to get VIN verified. The guy at DMV could not locate 'Federal safety label'. I believe it is a metal plate. It doesn't look like anything was removed. The RV has something that looks like a label, but apparently it was not it. I was told to go to CHP in San Jose, CA. CHP said they are booked for 2+ months and do not take any appointments.
All my inspections will expire in 2 months.
Any idea where this label should be located?
Any advises on what to do in this situation?
Thanks!
More info: this RV was made for California, was previously registered in California.

Here is a 1992 owners manual for the Fleetwood Tioga Arrow..Go down to section 3 and it explains where it should be on a 1992... Do you have an owners manual?
