Request for a DRW Pickup Owner
Good Morning All,
I have a Request for a DRW Pickup Owner....
Could you please measure the distance between the 3 rear clearance lights (under the tailgate) from the center of one light to the next?

12.5" from center of left light to center of right light
6.25" from center of left or right light to center of center light
I didn't even know I had those lights until I saw this question. Are they only on DRW and not on SRW?

Yes. Vehicles and trailers over 80” wide require them. This is also why every DRW pickup has cab clearance lights on top.

Here it is, the $30 DRW Light Bar....(3) 0.75" holes in the blank bar under the tailgate, (3) Hopkins C2534BRK LED Lights with Grommets, (1) Molex Connector receptacle for Pin 18 underbody connector and some leftover wire, shrink wrap & loom.

Is there still a clearance issue between the blank panel and the tailgate? On my ‘19 I just removed the panel so I wouldn’t scratch up the tailgate on gravel, bark, or whatever else might land on top of the black strip.

No clearance issue. I used the factory "blank" to install the lights into. The tailgate folds above the blank when the tailgate is down.

Do you have a link for the specific molex connector and where you plugged it in?

I just took one pin from that new connector and added it to, I think, pin 18 on the connector by the spare tire. There is a thread and a YouTube video showing how to connect the Ford light to this connector.
If I didn't mention it above, you need to verify the polarity of the LED you use. The ones I bought had the black wire as + and the white wire was -/gnd.
