Had a bad bearing in my 1999 f250 5.4l. Bought a used from AM auto parts, they have been good to deal with. My truck is early 99, they made modifications to the 5.4 in later 99, I got the later. Small changes but have caused a few problems. The first question is in the first photo does anyone know what the small black tube coming off the large one is in the photo it is at the back of the engine on the passenger side? My second is the location of the oil pressure sending unit. I have looked on line but no help. My first thought was in the plug in the second photo, it is at the front of the engine on the driver side near the oil filter, this plug isn't on the original engine, or if someone can tell where the sending unit on a early 99 5.4 is! Sorry for the pics not to good at this.
Wheel bearing? get the 2000 wheel bearing and front rotor and you'll be all set.....Plug on side of engine is engine heater for cold weather cord is missing.
Can't tell exactly what I'm looking at... In the back of the engine there is a pcv hose from throttlebody to right valve cover.
