Finally, slowly getting back to the F-47 build after a hellish wildfire season here. I just finally found a slip yoke for my AOD and am about to set the Explorer rear end pinion angle and have the driveshaft shortened.
I need to know how much a stock 6.5' box with wood floor would weigh as I want to pre-load the suspension with some dummy weights so I can weld the spring perches on the axle at the correct pinion angle. I imagine with the flat head I don't need to account for spring wrap.
Appreciate any help.
Cheers
The wildfire 4 km from our property. It started July 13th and grew to 83,000 Ha by the time it was under control Sept. 6th.
If you wade through this link, somewhere in the process they reference the loaded weight front and rear. It initially asks you for the weight, but if you don’t know, they link you to another page that has it (if my memory is correct).
