98 Ford Exp EB - Power Lock Issues
I have a 98 Explorer EB, and last night my power lock on the driver's door went out. Just the driver's door, the other three doors work just fine.
Does anyone have any good advice? I appreciate any help, and apologize for just coming looking for help.

It sounds like your actuator went out. I haven't priced them but I couldnt imagine them being over $60 but then again a side view mirror assembly is over $200. All these prices are retail and Im sure a few of us have or can discounts.
The actuator is in the bottom of the door. It might be as simple as a conector coming loose. Was there any funny noise or a weird winding sound when you would lock the door, if that is the case then it might have been the actuator going out. Get inside your door and check for any loose conections.

have access to a drill and rivet gun, the actuator is rivetted to the door so it needs removal and refitting.
I just dealt with this piece so its fresh on my mind.
