I would try Bob Selzam in NJ. I think he just does internet, not phone. Specializes in these old bigger trucks. His business is called 'half ton fun', Or Chuck at 'Chuck's Trucks' in Conneticut. And... Southside Obsolete, and also Joe's Antique Auto. Good luck. I daily drove a 38 tonner express for 11 years back around the turn of the century.
Back when I had mine, Joblot Automotive was still in business. One time I called them about seals or bearings for the rear end and the guy on the phone in NY told me there was a certain kind of amusement ride, let's say the 'tilt a whirl' or some such that used the tonner rear axle in it's drive train. All the stock of axle parts for a 38 tonner had been exhausted by then at Joblot.
