Who knows which of the 2 guys is right , I assume the techs get their parts from the service dept and everything is tracked and accounted for. There's lots of money tracking within the dealership to give metrics on profit per dept. Save yourself some money and buy one aftermarket for probably a 1/3 of the cost. I have a couple friends that did and were happy with them on a Denali and a KR.
Friends don't let friends do dealerships.
Sorry about your mirror
Not to be a downer, but I ordered a set of mirrors pre-pandemic (2019) and it took from October til March to get them. Fortunately, I didn't need them til April trailer towing season.
I don't know where Ford has the exterior mirrors sourced nowadays, but when I ordered a pair for a 2001 Excursion many years ago, I learned they were manufactured in Australia.
