1992 F250 dual-tank, front fuel gauge has never worked, took it out and messed with the pump and the wiring was all very unprofessionally redone at some point. I bought a new top half for the pump but the wire colors on the pump and what they say they’re supposed to match up to on my truck don’t match up right. I’ve looked through the haynes manual and tried to find a picture online, but haven’t been able to find the right wire colors on my harness. I have a thick red wire, a thick orange wire, a thinner black wire and a thinner blue wire with a yellow stripe. I’m trying to find which one is pump power, pump ground, sender power, sender ground so i can match them up with the diagram on the new wiring. If anyone has done the same wiring any help or insight is greatly appreciated, thank you

Do you still have the original plug? If you do just match up the pattern of the wires to the pattern of the new wires and that’s your harness. They’re the exact wiring as the old plug, just different colors
